My Grandmother passed in October 2020. She was well over 90 and her mind was gone. I’m so glad she’s gone on to be with Jesus her Savior. Even with her mind lost tens of years ago, she still prayed and read scripture until she no longer could. Even though I wish she had let go sooner, I’m glad she’s finally home. Thank you for helping raise me. I will always remember you gardening with me, and snapping green beans. We worked on the farm together for so many years. Thank you for allowing my parents to have the family farm, allowing me to grow up on it. You were truly a wonderful Grandmother to me. (J Credence)
My mother passed November 2020 at the age of 95, going Home. She shared scripture, love of music, creative & artistic endeavors with me & my siblings. She is my model for displaying zest for life (no matter ones physical limitations), keeping ones mind active (always learning new things), making friends and connections (always willing to lend a helping hand). It’s now a time to remember the good vignettes from the past while contemplating the glorious future with limitations removed, no pain, no tears, sorrow – peace at last; rejoicing and worshiping around the throne of my King & Savior, Jesus Christ. July 2021, my cousin, who battled cancer for many years, “has gone on to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior. No more pain or sickness. She can hug & visit her daughter” (who preceded her in a tragic accident). She lived through so much, but her faith never wavered. She is the first of my generation to pass (my mother, who passed last fall was the last of my parents generation). How blessed we are to know we will one day reunite with pain, anxieties, difficulties all cleansed – praising Jesus before His glorious throne. (CJ Austin)
