J. Credence Review: Squid Games

Everyone is talking about it, so I watched this TV series for you. Classified as a drama, thriller, horror fiction tv show, this fictitious game gives people in financial debt catastrophe the opportunity of reparation via bloody versions of Korean childrens games. Death versus the value of human life is the key concept in these games. Throughout the show the characters continue to evaluate their own personal worldview of the value of a person.

Having watched this series I have realized that the value of a human without a Jesus worldview is nothing. I walked away from watching the blood and gore, comparing it to an R rated version of Hunger Games, noting that most people watching this show see it as a cold reality we are either living in today, or will be living in the near future. As a Jesus follower myself, I found myself questioning if I would let others die in order to win hundreds of millions of dollars. What would you do?
