As 2022 dawns, fix your eyes anew on the Lord in devotion and adoration. You are hidden in Him. And in Him is everything you need. His steadfast love for you never ceases. His faithfulness towards you is unending and his mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22 – 24).
God has a new start for all of us, no matter our failures, disappointments, or heartbreaks. This past year was challenging for many people. Perhaps you too faced illness or suffered the grief of losing loved ones, the pressures of economic hardship, or the stress of family or marriage problems. May you deeply experience the comforting presence of the Lord – and see that He is able to rescue you!
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them,
he delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the broken-hearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:17-18
Here at the new year, Cheryl and I set aside time to pray for you. What we sense is how much the Lord wants to refresh and renew His people!
As your Good Shepherd, He longs to minister peace and rest and refreshing to YOU. In your place of weariness, He calls you to come rest in Him.
Prophetically, we are hearing the Lord say: “It’s time to awaken to a new Holy Spirit Era!”
And we’re not the only ones receiving this. Recently, prophetic leaders from around the world gathered in Dallas to discuss what the Lord has shown them for the coming year. Amazingly, every leader was in agreement and said: We are now entering a season in which God’s Spirit is coming to refresh, revive, and empower His Church!
